What is the number one way to stay safe in any situation? This page has the answer.
I appreciate you visiting this page, and I want to make sure you don’t leave without knowing more about keeping yourself and your loved ones safe. Yes, I want you to explore the rest of the site, but most importantly I want to answer the question, “What is the number one way to stay safe in any situation?”
I believe just knowing this, and practicing it, will increase your levels of safety and allow you to enjoy life much more while staying safe. It really is the most important lesson I teach in my books, DVDs, and live programs. Some people say it is common sense, but I’ve found common sense isn’t commonly practiced. So make sure you act on this lesson, and teach it to those you care about, especially if you have children. And feel free to share this page with others that you want to help stay safe.
Please pay attention to the answer and incorporate this lesson into your habits and lifestyle. I guarantee it can and will help you stay safe.
The answer?
Situational Awareness is the Key to help you Stay Safe in any situation!
According to the Marine Corps, Situational Awareness is the knowledge and understanding of the current situation that promotes a timely, relevant, and accurate assessment of situations within your area in order to facilitate decision making.
The important thing I want you to remember is to stay alert of your surroundings so you are aware of the good things and potential threats that you may encounter. This way you can make the decisions you need to keep yourself and loved ones safe. And don’t forget to be aware of how you are affecting the situation too.
Situational awareness is a learned skill that can help prevent violence or reduce the damage from violence we cannot prevent.
I want you to Stay Safe! The primary goal of the Survive and Defend website is to provide information that will help you stay safe and defend yourself if needed. The site is about information that saves lives. Now that you are aware, what things should you be aware of? What should you do when you notice a potential threat? What should you do to avoid, or if you have to, stop a threat? These topics and many more are what this site is about.
