Have a Plan for Emergencies Such as:<\/h3>\n

• What would you do if your cruise liner ran aground?<\/li>\n
• What if you’re exiting the freeway and a car is entering the off-ramp at high speed?<\/li>\n
• What if a neighbor’s dog attacks you while you’re walking your child in a stroller?<\/li>\n
• What if you find yourself in the middle of a gangbanger shoot-out?<\/li>\n
• What if a police officer mistakes you for a wanted criminal and arrests you at gunpoint?<\/li>\n
• What if there’s a mudslide about to engulf your car on your way to work?<\/li>\n
• What if you are at the mall and gunfire erupts just outside the store you are in?<\/li>\n
• What would you do if you had to evacuate your home immediately?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  I want you to think up possible scenarios you might encounter and then think about how you would respond. When you see an event on the news, think about what you would have done if you had been there. Bottom line: THINK about situations so you can have a plan for emergencies.<\/p>\n
