I’m all for anything to help us be safe. However, one can’t rely on these apps as the be all and end all to safety. They are a small layer in a person’s overall plan to stay safe. Being aware and practicing safe habits are still number one. Even if an app alerts someone, there will be the gap before someone can get there. A lot can happen in that gab. So stay alert, and learn to take care of yourself, and use the apps as an additional layer, but not as your primary safety tool.<\/p>\n
