One of the keys to good situational awareness is to make use of the
presented or available information. This means you should use the
information you gain about the adversary, but also use the personal
knowledge you have about your own abilities and your own situation
when you see a potential threat approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s more than just knowing “where I am, and what is going on around
me.” You want to have a plan. You want to know “where am I going, and
what will I do when I get there.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seeing and being aware of the potential threat at hand is the first
step, but it is not enough. What actions you are going to take when
the problem begins to unfold is an important thing to be aware of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You need to know how you will avoid it, or how you will escape to
safety. And if those fail, you must be prepared and willing to act
