I was sent this survival paracord bracelet by OMGAI with a survival whistle and fire starter in exchange for an honest review. There are many of these types of paracord bracelets on the market, and this happens to be one offered by OMGAI. I have a number of different ones, including red, white and blue ones often sold around the 4^{th<\/sup> of July, and find them to be good to have in my gear.<\/p>\n}

This is a basic survival paracord bracelet and not bad for the price. It is made of a cheaper paracord, but in an emergency it can be unwound and used for a variety of things. The whistle works. Not super loud, but better than your voice if you need to contact someone in the woods. (However, I’d recommend a louder whistle in your gear.) It also has the flint and steel scraper that you can make a spark and start a fire with if you have tender. Personally, I much rather have a lighter and matches in my gear and not have to start a fire with flint and steel, but if you have nothing else, this will work. I tried this on, as you can see in the video, and it is a bit tight. I don’t really care for wearing these survival paracord braclets, but rather have them handy in a pack or other kit. For that reason, I like having a few around. If you do like wearing one, you’ll have to try them on and see how they fit and feel for you. If you put in your gear, you can toss it in with first aid kit, attach it to the outside of a pack, or wherever else works for you to access it easily.<\/p>\n
